These are guidelines, not packages to choose from. Revenue is one reference point, not a pricing rule. I determine your monthly fee after reviewing the books, and your quote may differ from these prices.

Every tier includes

The same finished month, whatever your tier.

Tiers change with volume and complexity, not with the quality of the work.

Every month

  • Reconciled accounts every month
  • Profit and loss and balance sheet
  • A written summary and one question list
  • A person who reviews every month

Every client

  • Access by invitation, never your password
  • Your books and software stay in your name
  • A clean year-end handoff to your tax preparer
  • A free consultation before anything is agreed
What sets the price

Six things decide your fee.

No surprises: here's exactly what the proposal looks at.

Accounts

Each bank, card and payment-processor account needs its own reconciliation.

Transactions

Lines on your statements. Both sides of a transfer count; duplicate imports don't.

How you're paid

Card payouts, checks, cash and financing each add matching work.

People

Payroll through the provider is priced by how many people you pay and how often.

Reporting

Totals by service line or location fit Complex. Job costing and work-in-progress reporting are quoted separately.

Seasonality

We quote for your busiest months, not your quietest.

One-time and separate costs

  • Setup: a one-time fee when your books are already current, stated in your proposal
  • Cleanup and catch-up: a fixed quote after we look at the file
  • Software subscriptions for your books and invoicing: in your name

Terms

  • Month to month under the draft agreement; no minimum term
  • 30 days' written notice to cancel
  • No automatic overage charges: we tell you before doing extra work and propose a fixed adjustment for your approval
  • When you leave: paid-for reports, ledger exports and an open-items list
