These are guidelines, not packages to choose from. Revenue is one reference point, not a pricing rule. I determine your monthly fee after reviewing the books, and your quote may differ from these prices.

A sample month

An invented business, clearly labelled, so you can see the reports before you talk to us.

How a month runs

Four steps, every month.

The same rhythm every month, so you always know what's next.

1

Send statements

Statements for each account in your scope by the 7th, through one checklist.

2

We reconcile

Import, remove duplicates, match payouts to invoices and reconcile each account in your scope.

3

We review

Deposits, loans, equipment, payroll and anything unusual, with questions written up once.

4

Reports

Once questions are answered, the close is reviewed and you get reports and a short written summary.

What we need from you

A few things, once a month.

One checklist and one reminder list. No chasing.

Access by invitation

An invitation from your software to our firm, never your password.

Statements by the 7th

Statements for each account in your scope, plus any receipts we ask about.

Quick answers

About deposits, large purchases and new loans.

A heads-up on changes

New accounts, vehicles, equipment financing or staffing changes.

What's not included

Where bookkeeping stops.

So there are no surprises about who does what.

  • Tax returns and tax advice: those stay with your tax preparer, and we hand them clean books
  • Paying employees and filing payroll taxes: the payroll provider does that (we can manage it as a separate service)
  • Deciding which sales are taxable or filing sales-tax returns
  • Catch-up months and new-software setup: quoted separately before any work starts
